Pug!

So I was headed to my friends Halloween party on Saturday and a woman's pug had gotten loose, I helped her catch it and it bit me. I thought it rather amusing given his tiny little pug mouth, he wasn't able to leave anything more than a bruise.

The moral of the story, pugs are funny.

Did this one up for Sketchy Business for this months theme of 'jungle'. Rather simple sketch, but I had fun.

I drew up my own rendition of my little sisters tauren druid. She loves the little pets in game and I thought it only fitting that they should love her back.

Museum Trip 3

I managed to avoid the dinosaur floor this trip to the museum (it was tough to do since it's my favorite exhibit). I worked a bit more on drawing mammals and avians, still a bit rough I think, but working on it.

Tried playing around with this one in photoshop, it handles a bit different than painter (at least the versions I've been using).

I took a look at the birds section, and I'll be going back, so many specimens to draw! But until then, more dinosaurs!

Museum Sketches!

I bought a year pass to the museum of nature up here in Ottawa so I could sketch the animals (or their bones in some cases). Here is the first set of drawings! (I spent most of the time in the dinosaur wing, hence mostly dinosaurs).

Fire Dude.

I was playing around with painter and did this guy up. I'm trying to get a bit better at my digital painting as I feel I'm lacking. Hopefully I'll get better and have some awesome things to show off!

I've been sketching up penguins for a little project I'm working on (those who've known me a while know what it is). Anyways, these little guys are Adelie penguins, and I sketched them from reference from the web.

I umm, posted this on the wrong blog to begin with, but it's all better now. Anyways, I made this little guy out of sculpey the other day, he took about 2-3 hours and fits in the palm of my hand.
